For me Chinese is one of my most challenging classes, it is a very hard language but, it is also very interesting and useful. In the past few months I think I have greatly improved, especially in understanding what people say, saying the date, and saying the words with their correct tones. To me, Chinese culture is the most interesting out of the languages I have been introduced to, their food, the people, the country is all very interesting and is a big part in why I chose Chinese this year. It has been very helpful to better understand the culture. Even though I am no where near fluent in the language I have learned enough to interact with people in the language.
I really have enjoyed learning Chinese this year. I am very glad that I chose Chinese over Spanish. I have learned a lot and my Chinese knowledge has greatly increased. Including my pronunciation and vocabulary. It is a fun and interesting class in which I hope to continue later on in life. The language is tricky and a bit hard to learn, but I love how intriguing and interesting it is, especially Chinese customs. Overall, this year of Chinese has been amazing, the class was not a scary approach and I happened to learn a lot in the process.
Chinese Reflection:
Some things that I really like about Chinese is that it is a very complex and intriguing language. It will help me later when or if I choose to go into Chinese industries and negotiate or make deals. Things I dislike or don’t find “pleasant” is a lot of characters are hard to learn and just takes time to fully understand how to read and write them. Things that I need to improve on are character writing. Listening to Mandarin and understanding each word or phrase. I also could be better at pronunciation. Later in Chinese this year, I think we should go on a lot of field trips so that we can actually get a feel for speaking to actual Chinese speakers. For practice and other.
This recent few weeks of Chinese Class really helped me learn a lot. I increased my Chinese speaking skills as well as writing. A few weeks ago, I could not understand nearly as many characters as I could now. The ways we learned really help me out. Of course I still need to work on the writing and speaking part, but I feel like my learning has enhanced significantly. I am really glad I chose Chinese over Spanish this year. The learning is fun and informative. Overall, I still need to study and practice to move up to the very next level, but I am pleased with learning as much as I do everyday.
中国是更有趣。我是学习和渐入佳境在中国。我喜欢越 hands on工程我们有在做.
I feel that I this year my understanding of Chinese language and culture have improved significantly. I find myself understand the spoken language more than ever but I have trouble with the written part of the language and testing. I am excited to move on in Chinese next year but will miss the comforting environment of Mrs. Wu’s classroom.
This year in chinese I have learned a lot and I plan on learning more next year and continue to grow more as a chinese speaker. I have really begun to grasp what I am being taught and I love to soak up all the knowledge that I have been given. Chinese is hard but that is what's fun about it. If chinese was easy there would no longer be a point in taking a class and there would be no challenge or hurdle to jump over. I intend to take chinese in 8th grade and take it with me to high school and maybe throughout collage. I have learned a lot of vocabulary and skills to help me learn efficiently.
This year I got the help that I needed to learn more efficiently. I learned a lot of new vocabulary and technics for chinese learning. Chinese has given me a big challenge but its interesting and I have had a lot of help. I have been given the chance to talk to chinese speaking people outside of my class of four which has help me with my public speaking in chinese and my overall understanding of the content I have been learning in class.
I feel like this year, I've reviewed a lot of vocabulary that I learned in past years. In addition to this, I've also learned some new vocabulary too. The field trip was really fun and I enjoyed going to the restaurant and getting to eat great food. At the restaurant, I was worried I would say something wrong (or make eye-contact with the wrong person) and they would bring us the wrong food, or food that was too expensive, but after we got the hang of it, it was much easier than I thought it would be. I feel like going to the restaurant and only being able to speak Chinese to the waiters and waitresses (the cart people) was a really good learning experience.
